A few things to know before the guests arrive.
Can I use these for Friendsgiving or the kids’ table?
Of course. Add friends’ names as usual, and use the optional notes
for “Kids’ table”, a meal choice, or a short welcome. There is no
minimum guest count.
Can these work as buffet food labels?
Yes. Enter dish names instead of guest names, then use notes for
ingredients or meal preferences. Double-check food information
with whoever prepared each dish.
Is the place card maker really free?
Yes. All six designs, guest names, dietary notes, and PDF
downloads are free. There is no account, trial, or checkout.
Can I add meal choices or dietary notes?
Open “Add meal choices or a little note” and enter one note per
line, such as “Olivia Bennett: Vegetarian”. Match the name
exactly; letter case does not matter. The note prints beneath the
guest’s name.
How many cards fit on a page?
Each Letter or A4 sheet holds 3 folded cards or 8 flat cards. Both
have a 3.5 × 2 inch front. A folded card is 3.5 × 4 inches before
folding, with a blank back. Switch to Print sheet to see every
page before downloading.
What happens to my guest list?
Your names and notes are processed in your browser and are never
uploaded by this tool. Your list is kept in this browser tab’s
session so you can switch collections. Use Clear to remove it. See
our privacy notes for details.
Will the PDF look like the preview?
The PDF uses the same vector artwork, typography, text fitting,
and dimensions as the preview. Print at Actual size or 100%, and
choose the matching paper size. Ink, paper, and printer settings
can affect the final color.
