Choose your paper

01

Matte cardstock adds a lovely weight. Start with 65–80 lb cover stock (about 176–216 gsm), and check what your printer can handle.

Print, then trim

02

Download your PDF. Print at 100% or Actual size on the selected paper size. Trim between the corner marks with scissors or a paper cutter.

Add your own touch

03

Write a personal note on the blank back. Slip the 5 × 7 inch card into an envelope, or leave it somewhere they’ll find it.

Is this a free retirement card maker?
Yes. The 5 × 7 inch card, six designs, message examples, and PDF download are free, with no sign-up.
Can I make a retirement card for a coworker?
Use the Coworker message as a starting point, then edit the recipient, headline, personal message, and sign-off. Add a memory that only your team would share.
What should I write for a retiring teacher?
Choose Teacher for a thank-you message about the lives they changed. Personalize it with a lesson or memory, and sign it from your class, family, or colleagues.
Can I make a funny retirement card?
Choose Funny for a lighthearted starting point, then adapt it to your recipient. The headline and message remain fully editable.
What size is the printed card?
It is one flat 5 × 7 inch card per sheet, printed on Letter or A4 paper. Trim at the corner marks and write on the blank back. It is not a folded greeting card.
How much can I write?
Use up to 70 characters for the headline, 240 for the message, 50 for the name, and 60 for the sign-off. Text fits itself into the card. Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic lettering are supported.
